Goals & Objectives

+ Inform people who are not aware of thrifting as an option to reduce or change their typical practices of consumption.

By frequently giving in to purchasing mass produced products, the public sphere passively contributes to local and worldwide issues; mass consumption largely contributes to concerns regarding the environment as well as labour issues in third world countries.

+ We hope to create a culture jam, or "thriftjam," if you will, that will grab the attention of those who have up to this point, held a blind eye towards the notion of purchasing secondhand items.

+ We hope to identify the various and important advantages there are to thrift shopping, both large and small.
